Ok, I got it
the audacity formed in late 2004.

james hardman (vocals & computers) & matt stephens (keyboards) have been part of rock band "curb" since 1999 (check out their site at www.myspace.com) but their musical influences lie with the electronic bands, depeche mode, new order etc and after hearing matt's early demo's james forced his way into being a part of the audacity.

the album "how dare you" was recorded quickly and received record company interest and the track "thank god for doors" was released on shifty disco records in the summer of 2005.

with matt's ablility to churn out a tune every day they quickly followed with "the audacuty outstay their welcome" at the start of this year.

the audacity's sound has been described as "electric rock. their lyrics are certainly not run of the mill. the human league site's webmaster described "how dare you" as being "the album the league of gentlemen would make!"

the band have remixed various tracks for the human league and other electronic bands website

keep an eye on it as more may turn up soon!

the band are currently re-writing tracks with a view to playing live in the near future. new tracks are also being recorded.
